On Sunday, 25th September 2011, MACMA Selangor organised an Eid celebration in Dewan Serbaguna MPS Taman Ehsan, Kepong Selagor.
The celebration was fully conducted by MACMA Selangor committees with the help of various organisations.

The auspicious event started in the morning with a more than 400 guests.
Various performers including Studio Muallaf – a group of Chinese, Kadazan and Punjabi muallafs who sang Chinese and English song, a group of Muallaf kids, a group of children from Zhen Shan Mei Kindergarten in Subang Jaya, and students from School of Confucian Studies. There was also a Quran recitation by Yuhan Kuek, a 12 year old bright boy.

The theme of the celebration was “Loving Family”, and the event surely went according to the theme, as many Non Muslim Chinese turned up, celebrating Eid with their Muslim family members and friends.
This shows that reverting to Islam does not mean people have to severe ties with their non-Muslim family members, in fact we have to be closer and more supportive to each other and be free to exchange thoughts and ideas, to achieve a mutual understanding.

The chairman of MACMA Selangor, Hj Sharin Low expressed his gratitudes and appreciations to all the members and family who came for the celebration. And not to forget, to the officials of MAIS (Majlis Agama Islam Selangor) who was very supportive of the celebration.

2. Talk on Bekam ( Al Hijammah/ cupping)

3. Food in the Al Quran
(we will have food sampling here ; minyak zaitun, kismis, nuts, lemon. Serve Honey drinks in small cups,etc)
Here we will talk about the benefits of the food in the Quran.

4. Breathing exercise demo
5. Health check after talk (Blood sugar test in the morning).

Members are invited, and can help the committee by:

a) Extending your INVITATION to your parents or other members’ family. DO register with Sister Noorshin Ng (0162716369) or sister Nurul Liew (0133994211).

b) Be VOLUNTEERS to prepare the venue, the food sampling preparation, welcoming and making the people feel welcome and comfortable, serve food and drinks

c) DOOR GIFTS SPONSORSHIP and any other sponsorship like : salad, drinks, ring folder, photostat costs, etc. We will be giving out ring folder with presentation materials with pictures.

On 18th to 20th March 2011, MACMA Selangor has organised the 3rd youth camp.
This year around, the camp was in Kem Idaman Nurani, Hulu Langat.

Each participant paid RM40 and the rest of the expenses were sponsored by MACMA Selangor, Majlis Agama Islam Selangor and ADUN Kajang; YB Lee.

Altogether, there were 39 youths aged 9-18 y.o and 6 facilitators comprising of 2 SPM leavers and 4 medical students joining the camp.

The activities done were:
1) Telematch
2) Talk: “Our Role as Khalifah”
3) Talk: “Heroes of The World”
4) Jungle Trekking
5) Obstacle Course
6) Cultural Night
7) Movie Show and Discussion; “Children of Heaven”
8 ) Treasure Hunt.

There were 23 boys and 16 girls and they were divided into 5 groups.
